SEWA BHARATI TRAINING CAMP IN CHENNAI

The annual training camp of Sewa Bharati Tamil Nadu concluded with an impressive

public function at Korattur Vivekananda Vidyalaya in Chennai on May 26. The trainees demonstrated various physical activities like yoga, Kollattam, Bhajans, games, etc. Shri Sai Sundar, an industrialist, while presiding over the function emphasised on collective strength, which is bigger than individual strength.

Shri HS Govinda, Kshetra Pracharak Pramukh, emphasised on sewaattitude and explained why a healthy society is required. He also explained what constituted sewa. He said sewa should not be driven by pity gains but should be viewed as a duty. When it is viewed in this manner, sewa becomes a duty. He said we must perform sewa with the objective that it should help the deprived section of the society. A total of 74 trainees attended the camp.

We need to give more school bags to those needy students. Various NGO’s and schools have shared their kit distribution program with us. We earnestly request you and encourage you to actively take part in this endeavor to and see how your donation has been channelized.

Dear Seva Sahayogi,

The school kit event is almost complete, and you can sign up for a distribution event here.

We are writing to you with a different purpose though. We are falling short of donations for the school kits this year, and may have to cut down on some educational aid that we give out every year. This email comes with a request to you to kindly donate atleast one kit. If you have already donated, consider donating one more. (ofcourse, the more the better)

On 08.05.2014 Mass Marriage Ceremony was held at UM Balika Adarsh Vidya Mandir, Ambawadi, Jaipur where 65 Kanyadan was performed. This is an annual function of Ram Janaki Vivah Samiti, which is a live example of Samajik Samarasata. Sri RP Dadwal, Sri Sundar Lakshman, Sri Kailash Chandra Sharma from Rashtriya Sewa Bharati and Sri Shankarlalji, Sri Moolchand Soniji were the Chief Guest in the ceremony.

Invitation of School kit Assembly & Distribution - Seva Sahayog Pune - 411016, Maharashtra

Dear Seva Sahayogi,

Greetings !

It gives immense pleasure to be thankful to you for your continued and dedicated support to school kit drive. The Kitting is almost done and we are now heading to the ceremony of experiencing those smiles on innocent faces. Yes, the next 2 weeks are all about distributing the kits we assembled in last 5 weeks.
It is needless to say that activity becomes grand success only with your able support. The distribution activity includes transportation and actual handing over of bags to kids. The transportation has already started but yet to complete.
We invite you at Balshikshan on coming Sunday , June 8, 2014 ,for helping us complete the remaining dispatch of bags and of course to distribution activity.

You can register for " Car Seva" where in you bring your vehicle to transport some bags across Pune.

And last but not the least, though we are coming to an end of the activity, we are committed to provide science aids , sports kits, infrastructures to these underprivileged kids. We still are way back in donation collection needed for school kit as well as the other support we intend to provide.
