Corporate Social Responsibility

Sub:  Corporate Social Responsibility.

     i.        India is the first country to have CSR in statute, followed by Indonesia & France.

    ii.        The essence of the statute enacted recently is self reporting & self disclosure by the corporates in their websites and gives them freedom to spend money under CSR.

  iii.        Research & development which are not going to make commercial profits is proposed to be included in the CSR activity.

   iv.        The corporate affairs ministry, Govt of India will put up on the websitehttp://www.mca.gov.in/ the rules proposed to be made in the near future. All our affiliated voluntary organisations are requested to view the same and give their valuable suggestions to make it Corporate friendly as well as NGO friendly, and also to make it easy for the Govt to implement it.
